Looks like a date is being placed in the URL

Still working on the site but I noticed something weird in the "Areas of Practice" dropdown menu:

www.arriagalaw.com/

Click on any items in the "Areas of Practice" menu and then look at the URL, it looks like a DATE is being entered.

This does not happen in the "Contact Us" menu which has one dropdown selection.

There is nothting weird in the "aliases".

Any idea why this is happening?

When alias is empty text joomla will use date.

The alias is not empty.

The article and the menu item have an alias.

Do you use any component/plugin like K2 with your joomla?

btw. your problem definitely does not come from template, best if try some other forum.
