Hi,
If you got that template earlier see this:

www.hotjoomlatemplates.com/blog/26-news/...-internet-explorer-9

if that is not the caes try this: Put this:

<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />

in head section of index.php of template just below <head>

Hi Ivan,
Had an email from a customer saying he couldn't read my front page ... So I checked using Firefox everything was fine, tried IE9 and he was right can't read text on "Home" page, or "Our Service" both of which are standard joomla articles.

All the other VM pages and menus work fine

Found this topic with similar issue .. tried the fix and didn't help ..
Further search on the internet took me to msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc28832...spx#CommunityContent

where Microsoft was addressing the issue .. I tried the suggested "Compatability statements" in template => index.php however non of them worked either.

So now I have left the file like this until perhaps you can work something out;
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" " www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd ">
<html xmlns=" www.w3.org/1999/xhtml " xml:lang="language; ?>" lang="language; ?>" >
<head>
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />
<jdoc:include type="head" />

My site www.1stopledshop.net works 100% in firefox the template was downloaded at around July this year ..

any suggestions??

I checked your home page, you have content that is copy/pasted from MS Word . That is strong formatting that is infecting site layout in IE browsers ( only IE :) ). Copy that content to notepad to lose formatting then copy it back to WYSIWYG editor and do your formatting there.
