I am a bit confused about the use of the HotStart installation, can you also do this installation on an existing site, without losing existing data, the installation files should still be updated to the latest version of Joomla.
Or should I just install the template and fix all the settings manually, so I get the same format as in your example template.
I hope you understand what I mean, I'm not used to writing in this language. Bobbie

Hot Start installation method is not suitable for existing websites. If you have an existing website with data you don't want to lose, you should use standard installation method and then accommodate site to the new template (module positions changes of your existing modules, where it's necessary, is actually 90% of all work needed).
