User3 Position not working was created by sallysass

I was wondering why the menu items in the User3 position do not work correctly for me. They show up as a vertical list (see attached screenshot) and not as should appear according to the demo. I am using the Joomla 1.6 version of this template. What must I do to fix this?

In module manager click at module 'Top menu', published in user3 position, and in 'Advanced Parameters' write nav in 'Menu Tag ID' field.

After hotstart installation it should work from scratch without manual intervention.
Really don't know what went wrong.
