How can ichange the colour of the arrows form the left menu. When you click on the arrow you see a drop down menu?
The search button by Firefox has a different colour with internet explorer

You need to edit this image:

components/com_virtuemart/assets//images/vmgeneral/arrow_down.png

Try updating pie.htc in template css folder, new pie.htc you can find on google
