Error Message

if i install the Module "HOT Effects Rotator" on Joomla i get this message on my homepage

Strict Standards: Only variables should be assigned by reference in C:\xampp\htdocs\joomla\modules\mod_hot_effects_rotator\tmpl\default.php on line 13


could anybody tell me what´s wrong?

Open that file , you will see something like this:

$doc =& JFactory::getDocument();

delete & char.

hi,
tried it again, same problem, site is in complete error. uninstalled rotator-module from joomla and now have the problem to reinstall the module. joomla said to me: the installation is finished.
but, the rotator - module is not at the modul-list.

can not upload template right now on live hosting, just working with joomla on localhost.

If module is not listed in module manager that does not mean that it's not installed. DO you have it as option to add it when you click on "New"
