Try this instead:

display:none;
}
.nivoSlider a img

display:block;
}

Hi, Thank you for the response again. However this issue still persists even after adding the code. This is especially unatrractive for computers that have a slower internet connection as the images load so slowly and out of order with non transition. Please advise.

then best if you can send me access to administration so I could test that or leave just
#slider a img
{
display:none;
}
so I could see what happens.
When you send confidential information like password and username use "Report To Moderator"
