Drop Down Menu Items Not Present on Hover

I am having a problem with top bar menu. I have assigned my main menu to top bar and have a tab for my product galleries with each product as a child under the product galleries tab. When I hover over this tab however, these sub menu items do not appear. Only if I click on the product galleries tab and go to that page, then on a hover do they appear.

Also, I have sub-sub menu items for each of these sub menu items and I can not get any of them to show unless I first click on that menu item to go to that page. On your demo site, all of these sub and sub-sub menu items are visible from any page. Any thoughts on what I might be doing wrong?

Lastly, there is a space between the tab and the drop down menu items that I do not see on your demo page and I can't see how to get rid of it.
