over 60 images in home slider (no flash based)

We are interested in having over 60 images included in home page slider. These would be random images of people and on interior pages would be detailed info of each person. Can anyone suggest an alternative plug in to flash based slider that can handle this many images showing in slider.

So many images in slider of Photo Portfolio template is not recommended. It will delay loading time and probably made module looking unpleasant until it loads all those images.

Hot Joomla Carousel demo.hotjoomlatemplates.com/photo_portfo...ticle&id=6&Itemid=42 will be better option, just configure it to show larger images and one per slide and that's it.
