Yes, you got the latest module. Pictures should be ordered by name. Otherwise, please give us your site link to inspect that.

I want to sort the photo's by date. So the gallery must show the newest first, if you know what I mean. Is that possible?

Unfortunately, this plugin can sort images only by name.
