Problem displaying gallery was created by brnorman

I purchased Hot Photo Gallery template and installed and published the hot joomla gallery module. If I enable menu item it shows the fruit so I know it's working but I have this text in article: {photogallery}images/stories/WaterDrops{/photogallery} and images in the WaterDrops directory but when I go to that page all I see is the text (directory has 777 permissions).

Please check if Photo Gallery plugin is installed and published in Joomla Plugin manager. It's a plugin, not module.

I thought I'd installed all the pieces - installing and publishing the plug-in fixed it.
