can I use HOT Joomla Gallery in an article ??

I need to create a menu option call "gallery" and when an user click there the gallery shows up. Is this possible?

Yes,

Create menu item that shows some article it can be empty. In module manager create new Hot Joomla Gallery module and assign it to show only on that page.

For galleries our customers more often use HOT Photo gallery Plugin where you can simply add galleries to articles by typing special wildcard that points to images folder. You would not need module if you would use it.
