Article images fully stretched was created by vikingX
I have the problem that the pictures do not keep the format given in the article. Instead of float:right and a defined size, they are all stretched in the carousel. Any help please?

Well carousel will stretch them as defined in settings so re-size images to fit that size.

in which settings? I'd like to have the picture on the left and the intro-text next to it...

You want something like we have on hot sportal template demo. You need to use:
category (Content Source = Content Categories , in "Content Source IDs (required!)" se category ID)
or
article (Content Source = Content Articles, in Content Source IDs (required!) set comma separated list of article IDs )
list for that. Easiest for you to make such article layout is to create table with one row and two columns. In one TD put image in other text.

Yep that's true. But I already use categories.
However even if I change content and put it into table, first cell with the image is stretched.
