Sizing problems all over the place was created by mtnerd
I'm back - the
www.martinguitar.com
wanna-be. I've set up some articles with images (which will be image links later on) and installed Carousel Pro. I'm working at
www.sweetgrassrods.com/sgr25/jupgrade/
. The carousel is on the Home page, so you can see the mess right off.
I don't understand how the module and object sizing works. My articles range in width from 750px to 950px. The framework is 958px wide. The articles are going to range in height, as you can see, depending on the number of images. So the article height cannot be fixed.
The articles that are running through the carousel show are also located on following menu items (you can see how they are supposed to appear):
So, what do I need to do to make this work. At present, I just want the carousel to scroll through my first 3 image articles. Later on, we need to integrate the responsive slideshow.
Thanks for your help.
Debra
P.S. If this all works, it's going to be sooo cool! :silly:

You want one article per slide? How did you set item height in module configuration?

I set the width and height of the modules and the objects to 950 and 1000, respectively. I tried playing around with different settings and it only seemed to make the problem worse.
You're correct, I only want one article per slide.
Thanks!

And that is ok just checked it shows one article per slide, you have two images per article so I got confused. But now I don't understand real problem can you explain again
EDIT
Ok I see your images are stretched un-proportionally. I see you set width on some of them. If you set width: 890px; don't forget to set height:auto; or simply use some discrete value for height.

I'm completely confused. I need each slide to look like the article layout shown on the following menu selections -
About Sweetgrass Rods
Bamboo Fly Rods, and
Fly Rod Specs
The overall template width is 958px. How should I set the width in the form so it doesn't cut off the images. I just tried setting the height to auto and it doesn't cut off the length anymore but doesn't adjust for the shorter pages.
How should I set the width and height parameters so that the module will adjust the length and not cut off the right side of the article?
Is the module intended to change the width of the page layout? I don't want it to do that. Can we turn it off?
I hope this isn't confusing the issue further.

I needed to move the sample articles that should show in the carousel to the last three items on the main horizontal menu -
Fly Rod Specs
Fishing Images & Stores
Links & more
