I can not connect with FTP using info you provided, but updating jquery is not difficult, just copy content from this link:

code.jquery.com/jquery-1.8.3.min.js

and past it over content of(overwrite):

modules/mod_hot_joomla_carousel_pro/js/jquery.min.js

save, refresh and that is it

I am checking the site using netrenderer.com/ to check if it's working.
I have made the change as per your suggestion above and it is still not working.
