Documentation and Changing Carousel name was created by ed.form
1. I can find no documentation for the Hot Joomla Carousel Pro Extension so I am laboriously working things out for myself - what a pain.
2. The module calls itself Hot Joomla Carousel Pro in big bold black letters, completely unacceptable on our website. Where can I change this? I cannot find a setting to do this - I presume it will be somewhere in one of the PHP files.

Ah! I found how to change the name - it's right there as the title of the module under Carousel settings.
Still would like to see some documentation.

Hello,
Please check the images on this page: www.hotjoomlatemplates.com/joomla-extens...mla-articles-rotator
There are images that explain each option of the module. Also, if you move the mouse cursor over any option in the module settings, you will see the explanation.
The purpose of this module is to rotate your Joomla articles. If you understand how Joomla and its modules work, everything will be clear. However, if you have any questions, please ask here.
Regards,
Milos

I don't get any pop-up tips by hovering over parts of the images, and the one that matters is too small to read anyway. And no tips come up when in the setting forms either
I fully understand the purpose of the module and, in fact I already have it up and working on my site, but it would be good to have a written set of notes on how to use it - Where for example is any information on how many articles can be included in a set, or how to list the article IDs? I've worked out how to do that, but I'm still ploughing through adding more articles until I break the system - I'm trying to achieve daily rotation of a set of more than 100 articles in one category, showing one article each day.

Under the "Content Mode Settings" tab, you have the option "How Many Articles to get from Section/Category". It determines how many articles will be displayed.

Milos
Something like that is not possible with this module. You will need to add custom code to achieve this.I'm trying to achieve daily rotation of a set of more than 100 articles in one category, showing one article each day.

Yes I've now worked out that the maximum number of IDs I can enter is 30, more than that and the command to display as a single item breaks and the window becomes filled with loads of the articles in a vertical column.
What I haven't been able to see is a facility to designate a category and then choose a number of articles from it - if that were possible I would be able to achieve what I want by sorting the category with the Random parameter that you provide and choosing say 20 articles.
Thanks for looking Milo - should I start a new thread to deal with this last question as it doesn't really fit in with the original title.
