Hi Milos,

The Carousel Pro (at least the version I have bought from Hot Joomla - 2 Sep 2010) is not behaving well on the Opera 8,9, or 10.

The first slide is usually ok, the rest is either not presented, or having very short time of the presentation, showing mostly blackness behind.
The issues is with "slide or fade" effect nearly identical - presentation timing versus effect time.

Here is a website using it: www.agnesmilowka.com/

Firefox, IE7+, Chrome are fine, so I guess it is not a problem with parameters settings.

Is there any fix/update for it?

Keep good work!

Cheers

Hi, I am not sure why is that so. Please open demo.hotjoomlatemplates.com/sportal/ in Opera and you will see it works fine. Could you try to copy all settings of the Hot Joomla Carousel Pro from the demo site (the settings when you install with HotStart)?

Maybe content of the articles inside the Carousel makes problem in Opera. You will need some experimentation.

Hi Milos,
You are right, the original sportal demo works fine on Opera.
As far as I remember we just changed the width of the page,
so the components.
Ya, need some more investigation.
thanks

There is an easy fix for "HOT Joomla Carousel" Module v1.0" under Opera:

Parameter:
Slide Effect Scrolling Direction
(use Vertical only for 1 object per slide)

to be "Vertical" rather than "Horizontal".

I can only suspect that with the "horizontal" style all other slides are presented on the invisible part of the container when having calculated CSS position as: one 0-322, two 322-644, and three as 644-966px.

cheers
