Hot Restaurant Template, Joomla! 2.5.9 update

Hello. I was wondering if the Restaurant template will automatically update to the latest version of Joomla! 3.2

I currently have my site built with version 2.5.9 and would like to upgrade to Joomla! 3.2

Please tell me how I can do this. Thank you!

Joomla 3.x.x can use 2.5 template but 2.5 templates are missing some of stuff needed for j3. You can update then overwrite files in template folder you did not changed, If ideally if you know what yo have changed you can just apply same file changes to new template files. Generality differences between j2.5 and j3.X templates are minor

I read the Joomla! site and they recommended to wait for J 3.5 for new installs. My site is not a new install but I thought I should wait anyway.

Well that is indeed recommended mostly because they have significant changes in most update that can cause problems. For 3.5 they expect all to be in place and they will not make such changes. On other hand many people decided to go to 3.x.x so that is your decision
