Problems with installation

Before I purchased the Restaurant template, I installed Joomla Via a menu provided by my hosting provider.

During installation following the template_installation pdf I noticed that a lot of things where different.
After that I* deleted everything dit ftp and restarted the installation, but the results are the same. and every time I had to change permissions to 777 to be able to even run the installation and the config file.

What should I do to make a fresh start?

777 will block execution on some servers. Use 775

I deleted all files again, also the database, and created a new one. I loaded all the package again to the server and they have the right permissions now.

When I opened www.denijlsoestduinen.nl/jml/installation/index.php I got what you see in the attached jpg file, wich is quit different from what I expected from the explanation PDF

Ah, okthat is even not an problem. That is regular joomla installation step. You just need to delete /installation folder in your joomla site root folder and you are done.

This is a problem! The site is not visible at all and the buttons 'website' and 'administration' do NOT work.

I can access nothing in Joomla!

Besides of these, it has to be allways a problem when your product behaves differently than documented!
