Hello,
I had to step away from this for a minute. However, I tried all 3 statements above, one at a time, there was no improvement. On the 1st one, it showed without the extra border which gave it more room. Neither statement, from what I could see, affected the view on other devices (laptop & tablet).

The issue is that the menu (navigation) is so small when the site is bought up on an iphone. Is there a way to define a 3rd template that would be used for an iphone only? The one there that says iphone actually works well for tablets. (I've tried Samsung, Apple and Kindle Hdx.) But, it doesn't look quite right on an iphone (I've tried LG and iphone).

I left the 1st statement up on the site. If you'd like to see the others, get with me and I'll change them so you can see. The site is live now.

Let me know. I still need help to put this away. Thank you.

You could do that pragmatically, maybe there is some plugin that enables that

Hello,
I was told about a site called *************** (***************). Once you enter your website name, it supposedly will show how your site will look on different devices (eg. PC, laptop, tablets and phones, etc). When I look at my site there, it shows all of the menus in a way that they can be read (which is what I want). All of the 'devices' on ************** seem to use the template designed for the PC/laptop - none of them seem to use the iphone template from Hot Restaurant.

Take a look at it, if you would. Is there a way to turn off the iphone template? Just wondering if that might give some different results. I think the client could live with the display as depicted on **************. Let me know what you think, please.

Site you mention uses iframes as many other such sites that claim that can show how site will look on all devices. This is not accurate. If you want to see how your site looks on ios devices get mac, download xcode package and inside of it there is tool called 'IOS Simulator' that can show you how your site looks on ipad, iphone, retina...

Hi
i have a problem with the menu on Ipad and Iphone. Its not the same as on the website browser. I cannot read it because there is no background under the menu.

I have just put <meta name=“viewport” content="initial-scale=1.0"> in the head of index.php. On the Ipad the page is scaled. IS it possible to get a normal website on the Ipad. Must I cancel something? I Need that because I cannot see the menu real.

Look at www.lebaffon.nl
