Question on renaming hot_furniture tpl

I copied the line below from the Joomla site backend template section. Obviously the only template referred to here is the hot_furniturestore so it is clear that unless there is a template with the new changed name that the site will never recognize the name change. Is my analysis correct? Also the .ini file is unwriteable.

Parameters The parameter file /templates/hot_furniturestore/params.ini is unwritable!

Copy entire folder /components/com_virtuemart/themes/hot_furniture to the folder /components/com_virtuemart/themes and give it a new name. Then select new theme in VM configuration.

Thanks for your quick help on the issues described. We copied the folders into a renamed folder for our domain and everything appears with our store name in the .tpl extensions.

You copy \components\com_virtuemart\themes\hot_furniture\


Files are :

\components\com_virtuemart\themes\hot_furniture\templates\browse\hot_furniture.php

and

\components\com_virtuemart\themes\hot_furniture\templates\product_details\flypage_hot_furniture.tpl.php

I was looking to do the same, this helped me out a lot. Thanks! Also, if anyone was wondering where the themes need to be changed in VM, you need to change the following:

1. Admin|Configuration|Site
   -change theme, Category Template, and Flypage
2. Products|List Categories
   -click on each Category and change Category Browse Page and Category Flypage

I just noticed one issue, the add to cart button & quantity button have no background and the qty arrows are gone. I cannot figure out where to fix this. I attached a before and after picture to show what I'm talking about. Thanks in advance.
