Simple Question was created by davidabel
Hi All,
I have a very simple question. How do I configure Joomla to not display index.php in the navigation link? Here is an example:
I would like this to be displayed in the navigation window:
69.89.31.250/~furnity1/sofa-and-love-seats
instead of
69.89.31.250/~furnity1/index.php/sofa-and-love-seats
Any help would be appreciated.
David

You should rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess in Joomla root folder (use FTP software). Then, you should enable SEF with mod_rewite in Joomla Global configuration.
It should be work after that. If it doesn't work, you must consult your hosting provider about proper format of .htaccess file.
