Virtuemart

Hi

I installed the hotstart with joomla 1.7 and virtuemart 2.0. on a local server.
It includes the demo information from the furniture store.
Now the strange thing is when I go from the Furniture store with all the product categories and I click on one of the product categories I get to see this note:

Fatal error: Call to a member function getResultsCounter() on a non-object in C:\Program Files\xampp\htdocs\Joomla17\templates\hot_furniturestore\html\com_virtuemart\category\default.php on line 178

I cannot find the cause of this so can you help me out?

Did you update VM ? if yes there are almost always additional steps, but you must find information about that on vM forum.

Do you have php 5.2 or higher and Mysql 5 installed on this server?

why should I update VM since I have 2.0 which is the latest version?
yes I have php 5.2 or higher and Mysql5 installed.

Not saying update, I mean paches and manual fixes after update.
