We do not offer refunds as we are selling intangible goods, this is what you agreed during the checkout process. Template should look as our demo after HotStart installation completion. What you saw on our demo is what you got on your site.

There are no tweaking required, if you just follow HotStart installation procedure. Perhaps you did not follow it, and that's why you needed additional work to setup site.

most VM 2.x users are upgrading from a Vm1.x install and your suggestion of hotstart will not be applicable, including myself. hdid not aware that only hotstart package provides what;s shown in demo and the template by itself may not work properly with existing joomla 2.5 and VM 2.x with existing data.

I do hope you'll consider a refund as It'll not be fair of charging customer that was not forewarn of the potential issues with template without hotstart.
