the virtuemart currency converter works strange

i think the currency converter of VM does not work correct.
When i swich to site default language it just change the currency to the site currency without convert the prices.
Can I use another coverter based eventualy on another exchange rate (local)?

In Store > Edit Store, you can select available currencies. Please select your currency there (it's a list marked as List of accepted currencies).

I did so, and after that i reported this to you...
i have an bilingual site english-romanian with romanian default site language.

What you are using to switch between languages? Is it JoomFish? If yes, I am not sure if VM's currency converter is compatible with it. Anyway, you should look for answers here: forum.virtuemart.com

yes i use joomfish, and when i swich to english page the converter does not use the site currency and convert the prices showing that way wrong values.
