You don't need to reinstll template just for script fix ,because you would end up with same thig . Ie7 fix is insluded in post I sent, just make shure script is replaced.

Please can you tell - If i reinstall the template am i reinstalling from scratch (doing a complete hotstat install)

is this going to overwrite everything I have modified so far and all the things I have added (including all the things in my virtue mart???

Please don't run HotStart, you will overwrite all. Instead, you can simply reinstall template from Joomla backend (use file hot_furniturestore.zip). If you already fixed all per Ivan's advices, you don't need to reinstall anything.

Correct. You must uninstall template first, and then install again. It will delete your template parameters though (if you had any).

So, maybe it's better to unpack hot_furniturestore.zip and then upload all files via FTP (overwrite existing).

If i unzip and overwrite - am I ftp'ing it to the template/hot_furniturestore folder.

I am not sure how to uninstall the template so this seems easier
