unable to make the template work was created by haitom

Please dont flame me. im very new to this...

I followed both ways and tried to install and make it work several times.. I tried basic and hot install. As instructed on the website. But Its not working..

Please help

Have you followed HotStart installation steps? Have you clicked Install Sample Data during installation?

ummm.. now thats something i didnt do. :S

so now i should uninstall everything and do a fresh installation right?

Get rid of Joomla folder and the DB

Make new DB and copy the hotstart package again n start. right?

You don't make DB. Just copy hot_start folder to your host , and go to index.php rest will wizard do for you. (Remember to add sample data during wizard)
