I have an interesting 'band' of white and black that has appeared on the site, and I can't get rid of it. My client if screaming at me right now and I've tried everything to remove this. Please take a look and get back to me asap - this tech support method is horrible. I need help now.

I was working on menu's, and did not see this during my work. I disabled all of the menu's to see if a menu item was causing this, but that has not worked. I've re-enabled all of the menu's. email me at staff@stockrun.com if you can please.

Make sure that Home Page menu item (the default one, marked with a star in Joomla backend) is FrontPage type with 0 of articles published.

Here are my choices when I change the default menu type. I have tried many combinations, but there is always some type of small issue.

When choosing Articles>Frontpage>frontpage blog layout - the 'band' of black and white goes away.

This produces a new issue, which is that the bottom half of the site (from below where the 'band' is located), is now a smaller width than the top half (above the 'band').

I know you're close - any suggestions? I can't load the template on this hosting account without losing everything, and I'm almost finished with the site, or I would just install it and look to see what the param's of that menu item are by default.

Thanks!

T.

Make sure that you DO NOT have any modules on the RIGHT module position published on the Home Page.

Actually, check both LEFT and RIGHT module positions. There must not be any modules published for the Home Page.
