Submenu not showing

I cant see my submenu in position user3.

In Module Manager under basic setting the following is set
Select Menu Top
Start Level 1
End Level All
Show Sub-menu yes

Under Advanced

Menu Tag ID nav
Menu Class Suffix
Target Position
Alternative Layout
Module Class Suffix
Caching no caching
Cache Time 900

I am displaying the same menu in module location Left and it works.

Are you sure you set Always Show Sub-menu Items to Yes?

Yes.

I am showing the same menu in the left location and it works fine.

Can I manually check a file where the settings are stored.

I have also deleted the menu and created it again but no luck.

Everything is OK regarding template styling. Check your Joomla settings. Ether Always Show Sub Menu Items is set to "No" or you don't have sub menu items ????....???....
