Columns Bug

Ok, I'am glad you managed to solve problem. Here are some hints for further , avoid having div tags in article content that can break layout. You can simply ban them in editor plugin settings. Also I'am not sure what you mean by pictures problem but recently lot of people stuck with new joomla option tab "Text filtering" in general settings if not all options are set to no-filtering it can case some element are omitted when shown.
