Getting rid of main body on just homepage

Hi,

I have tried to get rid of the main body on the homepage but it just leaves a white bar where the featured articles used to be. Is there anyway of getting rid of the main body on just the homepage?

put some page suffix in menu item (parameters in right panel) like " nocontent" (note-first char is blank)

then add this css at bottom of template_css.css:

.nocontent{
display:none;
}

There is no suffix box in the parameters in right panel of the homepage menu?
