Carousel Pro & Hot Scroller with K2

I currently have a site but am in the process of a redesign with Sportal. I have the beta site setup on a test server and been playing around with the options. One thing I cannot figure out is how to get Carousel Pro & Hot Scroller to display content from K2. My current site is based off this and will be moving the content once I have the site completed on the test server.

I have added all the K2 category ID into Carousel but none of my test content displays on the main page. In the Scroller it doesn't even recognize the K2 categories I have created. How do I get each to display my K2 content?

Both Carousel Pro & Hot Scroller are not compatible with k2

Ah.. Wish I would have known that before I bought the template.. Template is pretty useless now.. Thanks.
