Something wrong with user registration, login, etc

Hi all. I've installed the hot start in 2 locations. 1 is to compare back to the original. The other, I've started modifying. I've found that somewhere along the way, an issue has appeared in the user registration, login, etc functionality. For example, the demo, with *no* notification, has a 'registration' link:

http://127.0.0.1/sportal_demo/index.php/login?view=registration

But the demo that I've started to modify ( removed categories, added my own, edited menus ) has the 'registration' link:

http://127.0.0.1/index.php/home-page/Smart%20Search/subscribe

... which doesn't work.

Can someone please tell me what I've done? Thanks.

are you sure menu item types are exact, site I see is ok

I didn't change any menu item types. There are 2 places where I see the problem.

1) The 'Contact Us' link, which is in the 1st menu ( IGEN TIMES ).

2) The 'User Login' module, in red, in the right position. In the hot start demo, the links in these are different to what I'm seeing now. But I didn't change anything to do with this module.
