Problem with links

Hi every1. i finally installed the site. But now i got a huge problem with links! i cant open anything inside my site.

And try in interviews, or in contact us. or even in the main menu, u cant do anything! . only working links are external ones.

Generally first check if CHMOD is set to allow reading of files. Here is some page that talks about that problem:

im not really understanding that topic. Can u PLEASE explain me a little more? where do i check CHMOD?
do i ineed to rename htaccess.txt for .htaccess and change something?

Ok first step go to global configuration and set everything to No under "SEO Settings". then see if your problem appears

yeah it worked! but now.. i got nasty urls in my site!

at least we found the problem. now what to do?
