position actual logo over menu on left side

can this be done and how would i go about doing this... site is on a local install --see the screenshot ... i have moved the menu over to the right... background graphic is called header and i want to add the league logo; so, it overlaps the left side of the menu if that makes any sense...

logo dimensions are 98 / 127 and the file is called " gogafl.png "
