Style 2 Colours & No Hot Restaurant in 1.6 was created by JohnMcl
Hi there.
Firstly I have no Hot Restaurant in my version of Sportal for Joomla 1.6
Therefore when I go to change colours on the template I have to use the side area in Template Manager.
My preference is for Style 2, but it seems I cannot change the colours used in the modules at all using the template manager.
Please can you help and advise.

Hot Restaurant and Hot Sportal ??
If there are no parameters for color you want to change you can add your css overide in style block just before </head> in index.php of template.

Hi there. Sorry I have Hot Sportal, and in the instructions it says to navigate to Hot Restaurant to change the colours.
However in my 1.6 version there is no Hot Restaurant.
Therefore in the Template Manager I try to change the colours which it has listed, however, they do nothing. No matter what I change them too the overiding Style 2 remains.
As an example it does not even allow me to change the colour of a module, or the Module header text, even though those options are there.

OK I realise I now have to disable the Style options to change any colours so now that I have done this I have replicated many aspects of style 2 with a few amendments.
There is still a slight issue with the scroller function colours though. The module allows a great deal more functionality in respect of colour options than the Template manager does, however they are having no effect at all.
Do you know why?

Regarding instructions where it says "Hot Restaurant" , that is maybe typos mistake , you can select style in Template Manager->HOT Sportal
templates\hot_sportal\styles\style.php in including it's content in index.php so if you were changing css files it has higher priority.
You may need to add your css rules in index.php of template just before ending of pages <head>...</head> tag in style block.
