need better editor

hi,
i just purchased the sportal template. the template is working out great, but i don't care for the 3 editor choices. i was wondering if there is another editor you would recommend to use with joomla 1.6 that will not conflict with your template. i am looking for a plug-in/extension editor that will let me make better tables and increase font sizes, change font colors, etc...

Well we always use that editors. Commonly users have problems when they do not configure style-sheet path so look is different in editor and in site.

I don't have any editor I could recommend you , because you would get somethin similar to that editors you don like so much.
Maybe FCKEditor could be good for you?

I found out that the problem was with Joomla. By default, Joomla didn't give me full function with the TincyMCE editor when i installed. There was alot of function missing with the TinyMCE editor. I read the following info at:
docs.joomla.org/Inserting_a_table_into_an_Article

Note: If you are using the TinyMCE editor please go to Extensions > Plugin Manager and ensure that the Plugin Parameters Functionality is set to Extended. You will not be able to insert tables without this being set.

so that was my problem.
