Please check if articles are locked (has lock icon). If they are locked, check them all out. Also, check if the articles have some intro text set. There is an option in the module to display only the article's intro text.

I put the module to display only the introtext and the article showed up finally. Then I switched back to title and introtext and the article I added was finally showing.
No problems now..
