Conflict with Hot News Flash/Hot Scroller was created by jaynedell
Hi, The hot scroller will not work on the same page as the hot news flash unless it comes first. The site is
kbskitchen.com/kbsnew
. When I reverse the position of the Hot Scroller and the Hot News Flash the scroller and news flash work. When I put the scroller underneath the news flash, the news flash does not rotate through the images. Please let me know how I can get the Hot News Flash to work, with the scroller underneath. I have tried different module positions and the only way I could get them to work together was in the same module position with the scroller on top. I need the scroller underneath the news flash as it is set up now on the site.
Thanks,

That may be due jQuery referencing. Make sure jQuery is referenced only once before that modules or in first one and that referenced version is better or equal to versions this modules use.

Hot Scroller has a more recent version 1.42 vs Hot Flash 1.32. I would like some direction on how to get this to work. Do I turn one off? Do I upgrade something? Do I change the .php file in one of them? Please let me know.

You can do something like this:
Turn of jQuery in all your modules , and reference it manually in head section of page (index.php of template).
You can download latest version of core and UI on jquery.com
