Hot Menu Mouse Hover Problem with Sub-Menus

I recently bought the commercial version of the DesignNow template and I am in the process of installing it for a new website. I am not new to Joomla, but I am new to Joomla 2.5. However the problems seem be associated with the template:

I have successfully implemented the Hot Menu features with the Fade effect. I have a simple menu with a couple of submenu items in the Top Menu. When I hover the mouse over a menu item that has the submenus items they do not show. I have to click on the Top Menu item and them the submenu items with fade in the list.

Any ideas?

Did you set Alwaus Show Sub Menu Items to yes in menu module settings.
