Re: Bug with NUMBER OF IMAGES ON SCREEN

Ok, I was going to live with the bug, but it is causing a problem. Here is what is happening.

I used the HOT Caroussel module and for the setting "Number of images on screen" I put 1, expecting the caroussel to only show 1 image.

I also changed the width of the module to show 1 image.

It is actually still displaying 3. Only ONE shows up on the website given below, but that's only because the width of the module is wide enough tfor one, but in the background it is still loading 3 images at a time. If I was to widened the width, we could see other images appearing, up to 3. The result is that some images are never showned(they are, but in the background because the width isn't large enough to show 3 images)

Is there a fix for that? We really only want one image appearing at a time. Yeah, a simple image slider would do the trick, but HOT Caroussel is the only module I found that allows text wrapping around it.

Regarding the Hot Carousel module, it looks fine to me. All 14 images shown in the source are in Carousel, shown one by one.

For Hotdesingation, that's fine, we won't use it after all. No real need for it on that website.

For Hot Caroussel, well, seems you are right. It loads 14 images.. Thing is, there are 16 in the folder. So I took a look at them and one image wasn't loading because of it's name(multiple dots in the name, I removed them and it finally loaded) The last one just wouldn't load though, I had to open it and resave it and then it loaded. I guess there was some minor corruption in the file. Thanks for the input! All working now.

Hi,
I have problem with Hot Designation. When I used 5 content slots, and set number of items to 5, it will show 5 small images at the left, 2 of them lies outside the hotdesignation box. In addition, the diamonds are shown vertically not hoorizontally. I am using Joomla 1.5.15. Can you please help how to solve this problem?

hi the name of the site is jilnorway .com. For now i only have set number of items in to 3 because it doesn't look good if I set it ti 5. You will only see 1 diamonds because I have limited the size of the module. If I will make it bigger you will see diamonds display vertically.
