no payment/shipping/checkout

Hi,
I installed the hotstart ecommerce on www.alllegaldocuments.com
its running Joomla 1.7 and VM 2.0 with IIS 7.0
I cant get payment/ shipping methods to show up and when I click checkout I get 404 error.
I checked some other forums for possible virtuemart errors and disabled the search engine friendly URLS but still no fix.

1. Did you enabled that step in VM checkout steps?
2. It works - form basket ???

Yes on the checkout steps I have enable automatic payment and shipment unchecked
must agree to terms and show terms are checked ask for registration and only registered users are unchecked show checkout steps is checked and show product images is unchecked.


Ive gotten the shipment method set now but I still cant get the shipment method to show but still not the payment method. also on agreeing to terms its still transfering to a blank page

I should clarify I get the option to select a payment method but no ones show up when I click it all I get is

We are sorry, no payment method matches the characteristics of your order. Please .

Do you have at least one defined payment method in vm admin?

ya I have the standard and paypal activated although I really just want paypal
