Hello,

In my attempt to fix the scrolling problem with the forum I have made some sort of error to the site.

The error: Open up the website in IE and you will see the top menu and all other menu’s are broken.

Here is what I did:

Opened up this file: www.protecfuelsaver.com > templates > Hot_ecommerce > CSS > template_css.css

I added this bit of code:

#Kunena { overflow-x: hidden !important; overflow: auto !important; position: relative;

width: 937px !important; height: 500px !important; background: white; padding-bottom: 15px; }

And it caused the menu to not display correctly. I removed the code from the css, re-uploaded it, and it still did not fix the issue.

I need the scroller to work in the forum as well as the main site navigation.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

you can view the site here: www.protecfuelsaver.com

Thank you.

Jim

In top menu module set Menu Tag ID = "nav"

thanks for your reply ivan, I checked the module settings and it had "nav" in the Tag ID

After looking around I noticed it also affected the positioning of my copyright even though the css still says align; center. Additionally, there are other modules that have lost their positioning as well.

Thank you for your help!

Make sure you are adding "nav" in the Menu Tag ID of Top Menu module. More details here: www.hotjoomlatemplates.com/blog/joomla-t...ems-and-subline-text

Thank you for your response, the "nav" ID has not been effected by the addition of the code, I followed this path of extensions > module > Top Menu > Advanced Parameters > Menue Tag ID : nav

This had not been changed by the addition of the code.

THANKFULLY, I found a backup of the website I had made 2 weeks ago so I reloaded the CSS and it fixed that issue.

I now have the issue of the Kunena not having a scroller, as seen in this post: www.protecfuelsaver.com/Gas-Saver-Tips/4...PG-from-your-vehicle

The bit of code I added the first time fixed the Kunena problem but also caused my menu problem. Any idea of how to fix this so I can have my cake and eat it too?

Thanks :)
