adding menu items to top menu was created by chibs

Please i want to add menu items to my top menu but it is not showing as a menu item but just as a text link
Please how do i make it show as a menu iten and how can i add a dropdown menu to the top menu

From your testimony maybe you did not set menu Tag ID = nav in module settings

Go to module manager, you will find an module that displays your menu. Enter it's settings and you will find that parameter.

It is showing only as a text link and not as a button link that i want
