Ok, all is ok. The details picture is not altered by vm, you must manually make them smaller. Vm stores images in:
images/stories/virtuemart/product
You can copy them locally , re size them and return them back so you coul preserve names.

ok
i think it was like vm 1.1.9 that on upload it creates a thumbail and a resize image for the product so on click it´ll open on the same size as uploaded.
So we have 3 images, thumbail, product and product on click.
So in VM2 we only have 2, thumbail and the size we upload, is this corect?

VM creates 2 images after you upload: Thumbnail (resized as per size in configuration), and full size (resized as per size in configuration).
