Cannot install was created by verastwin
I purchased this template a while ago and have now decided to use it but unfortunatley usinmg the hotstart i cannot get past the language selectionn page , its simply stuck on this page. I can install joomla 1.5 with no issues and then the template afterwards but i would like to use the hotstart to replicate the demo site. I am currently doing this on a localhost using xampp 1.7.3 ( i have tried wamp but get the same result - stuck on the language selection page)

Just saying "Stuck" is very wide definition. Is it frozen like as next button is disabled , or you click on Next and browser just keeps doing some background job?

Hi
To clarify - the next button is disabled and is not clickable

That could mean that some css or js file is not loaded. Most probable cause is that that file is not found on right url. Maybe you changed default settings in xampp, like mime types and handlers.

I have run into the same issue. After I use FileZilla to transfer the 2.5 HotStart files to my root folder, I go to the webpage to go through the installation steps. The Installation page looks like it has no HTML. Just the text version with the 'next' hyperlinked. When I hit next, nothing happens.

I have deleted all the files from the folder and re-transferred them twice with the same result. I also re-unzipped them in case a file didn't make it over the first time.

Please Advise

My Host is 1and1.com
My PHP Version is 5.4
I have installed the Real Estate Hotstart template with no issues previously. I'm not very code savvy so I haven't made any changes to anything I'm aware of and I don't know what xampp is.
I cleared my cache and restarted the browser and nothing changed.

The site is hensleydermatology.com

When you copy new files most likely CHMOD is set again so maybe it is set not to allow read access. Go to cpanels file manager and check CHMOD of files if not set to allow reading to public change it.

CHMOD should be:
FOLDERS: 775
FILES: 644
