1.7 Template on joomla 2.5

hello!

can i run the hot_ecommerce 1.7 hotstart template on joomla 2.5?
I try it but it does not work with the install function in joomla 2.5
the template does not appear in th e template manager, I can only install the ecommerce default template.

There is 2.5 ready version of template and hot_start both. You should be able to install 1.7 version in j2.5 but I think you would have some minor problems since layout is bit different.
