ok, thx! I will try it out.

But why did all producs disappear from the shop / scroller etc. when I chnage language?

For example: I get following debug messages in frontend

vmdebug self::$_jpConfig->lang de_de
vmdebug vmTime: loadConfig db no: 0.0077338218688965
vmdebug Start used Ram 5.5M
vmdebug vmTime: VirtuemartControllerCategory Finished task : 0.1323459148407
vmdebug End used Ram 9.25M

try that first because it may be reason for other problem also, also look form that was known bug
