Admin Log in Gone was created by Twreck
Hi,

I have loaded the eCommerce template, went through the Joomla set-up and from the last page of set up logged into the admin panel. Spent several hours starting to tweak the template to use as a test site and logged off. Now when I want to log back in to the admin panel The page loads bit not the log in box. So right now I am locked out of the admin panel. You can see it at zekertest.com/administrator.

Any suggestions would be welcome as I would prefer not to delete and reload the entire package. I did not use the wa89g_ prefix for the database but accepted the generated default. Could that be the problem?

Thanks for any assistance you can offer,
regards,
Harvey

Thank you Ivan. I ended up reinstalling the site and used the wa89g_ prefix for the new database. This is a test site so it was a good exercise. All is working correctly with the new install.

Appreciate the quick response.

Sorry, but I am back with the same problem. The new install allowed me to log in and out several times and than the admin login box failed to load again.

I am not sure what you suggest I do..."try restoring database table #_assets to be same as in fresh hot_start . Make backup first " Could you tell me how I would restore the table.
Thanks,
Harvey

you are doing something that you should not do apparently. Can you write what did you do all after installation.

For #_assets
You have to install fresh hot_start some-ware then open that table in both databases form phpMyAdmin and compare row one by one. Delete extra rows , and edit revert back values to original ones.

Thank you for the explanation. The problem was in how I set permissions. I am sorry to have asked before exploring this option. I will be more careful before posting next time. I really appreciate your quick response.
