Virtuemart menus not showing in frontpage

Hi there.
I am using Joomla 2.5 and Virtuemart 2.0.6 with the Ecommerce template and my menus are not showing in frontpage.
Only when I click on the products(category) I get to see the menus.
Can anyone help me with this issue?

Check menu assignment is module configuration. You must have pages associated with menu items to be able to control them in menu assignment. If you don't want to show menu items you can put them in some hidden menu which is not connected with any menu module

actualy after your sugestion I went to check and found that the main menu was not assigned to the VM frontend.
